DERMAL FILLERS

The passage of time produces the reabsorption of tissues in cheekbones, cheeks and facial oval, which gives the person a tired and aged look. With the disappearance of the natural filling tissues of the face, the first surplus of skin appear, or what is the same a facial sagging, since this loses its support and shows surplus and fall.

The treatments of fillings help to fight the flaccidity, attenuate the wrinkles and endow the skin with a natural volume.

There are different types of fillers, depending on the objectives you want to achieve, among which are: hyaluronic acid-based fillers, calcium hydroxyapatite fillers, calcium triphosphate filler and polylactic acid-based fillers. They can be used together or individually.

The choice of one or the other will depend on the personalized diagnosis made by the doctor to each patient in a first consultation.

HYALURONIC ACID FILLERS

It is a resorbable, non-permanent filler material, which is increasingly fashionable for the correction of signs, facial and non-facial, of skin aging, thanks to its ability to retain fluid and attract water, as well as stimulate the production of collagen, its natural results and its ease of application.

Allergic tests are usually not required prior to the use of the product, because hyaluronic acid is a substance that is found naturally in our body (skin, joints, etc). The results are observed immediately and usually last from 6 months to a year.

Hyaluronic acid fillers are used to correct wrinkles and furrows of the face (for example, the nasolabial folds), or as thinned and shriveled lips, which appear as a result of the passage of time, and worsen with habits such as smoking.

Hyaluronic acid is also used for facial remodeling (cheekbones, back of the jaw, chin, eyebrow elevation, etc.)

CALCIUM HYDROXYAPATITE

This product, considered a stimulator of the skin’s own collagen, is composed of exclusive and patented microparticles of calcium hydroxyapatite (CaHA) suspended in an aqueous gel. Its main component is identical in composition to the mineral part of the bones and teeth, being a biocompatible substance.

When calcium hydroxyapatite is injected into the skin, it stimulates the body to produce new collagen and promotes its growth around the injected area.

Its effect on the skin is progressive and the final result of the treatment can be assessed after four months, since its function, from the moment it is injected, is to enhance the natural collagen of the skin and increase the facial volume to provide the skin a soft and natural appearance. The change is appreciable immediately.

Over time, the body gradually absorbs the gel, but the tiny, thin microparticles remain. This filling of Calcium Hydroxyapatite provides immediate results that last up to two years, since it serves wonderfully to the ever changing needs of your face.
